because i'd rather spend my days and nights in his arms instead of bathed in an electric glow, here are my resolutions a day or so early. here's hoping for a better year, for a lighter heart, for a lot of genuine smiles, for happiness, in its simplest form.
- make resolutions that are more sensible than last year's
- lose 10-15 lbs, sensibly
- have a properly planned garden, possibly sell at a roadside stand
- project 365, without giving up and giving in
- write more, even if it gives me delusions of grandeur
- be selfless
- use my journals more
- let my natural hair color grow in
- get eli, finally
- go to the beach in my completely awesome vintage bathing suit
- have more adventures
- enjoy life, plain and simple
whether watching the ball drop or listening to his heart beat out of time or surrounded by girls in velvet dresses with glossy eyes, i'm sure i wont be around tomorrow night to say this so - happy new year everyone. i think we all deserve it.
