[Rydia is on her way from the battle dome after training there for a while when she spots Saleh approaching from the opposite direction. Perking up, she waves.]

[The wave catches his eye as he glances over at her.]

[She pauses to look him over.]

You definitely seem better off than last week.

[mountain_sage]

I'm feeling much better off as well. Again, I owe it to you.

[She beams.]

So, is everything back to normal? You have back what you were missing?

[mountain_sage]

Yes, I've regained my light magic ability. I hadn't imagined that it would feel this good.

[mistlegacy]

Well, it's a part of you that was missing. Having it back means you're whole again.

[Her smile turns slightly wistful at that.]

[mountain_sage]

Indeed. I do feel whole again.

[He glances at the Divine tome in his hands, with the barest hint of a smile on his lips. He then glances back at Rydia.]

So, what brings you out here today?

[mistlegacy]

I'm on my way home. I just finished training back here.

[She gestures to the battle dome.]

Though that was as much for a change from the winter scenery as a workout.

You still dislike the winter? How do you normally cope with it?

[mistlegacy]

Aside from that? Focusing on the Welcome Center. There's usually a lot do once a new cycle starts, after all. And find something else to do once it slows down again helps a bit, too.

[mountain_sage]

Hmm, that is true. You stay in the warmth of the Welcome Center most of the time.

[He'll stick with wandering around in the cold.]

It's not even that, it's just that helping people distracts me from being impatient for all this to end, you know? Their problems are bigger than mine, what with having just arrived, and I know it.
