Ok, so while Illustrator is a totally kickass program, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do the most minor fucking tasks. I can't even crop a goddamn image. The only thing I could get to work was some kind of clipping mask, which I had zero control over, resulting in this:

Thanks, that's about alls I know about the program too. I'm trying to figure out how to do things like change the color of one line segment in a polygon and crap like that.

And yes, I did redo my journal icon. That's officially the first drawing I've ever done with Illustrator. I'm still trying to figure out shading and shit. Just started screwing with that by updating my AIM icon:

I can't stand reading so video tutorials help me quite a bit. Illustrator reminds me of Maya in many ways, but I think my drawing style is perfectly suited for Illustrator.
