It's funny, because I spend all this time talking about how I want to someday be a professional illustrator, but when someone contacted me today trying to hire me to work on some comic book they publish, I kinda pussed out. I've never drawn paneled pages, and while it's something I absolutely WANT to do some day, I keep telling myself I'm not ready for it yet. I did give him the option to send me a synopsis of what he wanted done, and offered to do a few trial pages so he could make a decision based on those, but I wouldn't actually expect anyone to take me up on that. Oh well, someday....
Work is busy as a motherfucker, and school hasn't even started yet. Jesus Christ. I'm so not looking forward to next week. On the plus side, I got a $5000 raise today, so it's not like I can really complain. Shit, I sound like an arrogant piece of shit today. I'm all like "Hey, someone tried to hire me and I got a big raise! Whoo!" Awwwwww, Mr. Bigstuff, who do you think you are?
So yes, while I am awesome, my awesomeness cannot compare to the even more awesomely awsome awsomeness of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (or as I have come to call it, "Splinter Cell: Another Totally Sweet Excercise in Fucking Up Assholes in the Dark....Bon3rz!").
