Homeward Bound

Well, its Friday. Tomarrow evening I return home to the Great State of Washington, and I look forward to it. I have enjoyed the past two weeks out of state, going from Washington, to Oregon, to Idaho, to Wyoming, to Arizona, to Nevada, and finally to California - I don't think i'll sit in our van again for awhile for fear of some sort of trauma.

Cheyanne was alright, though I didn't do much of anything. Sat in the room alot and sometimes would head over to the convention center to carry heavy loads into my mom's booth for her - grunt work I tell you. (Soooo many 50 to 100 lb boxes and crates.. ugh; didn't bother me, but after awhile you just want to lift SOMETHING lighter.)

The next major stop was Las FREAKIN' Vegas! I really enjoyed myself there, though that wasn't much of a suprise. First time i've been there that i've been old enough to gamble; can't say that was extremely thrilling, nor monetarily appeasing, but it was fun to a certain extent. I enjoyed walking around the strip, and for the first two nights we were there, I enjoyed good beer and good entertainment at the Irish Pub that was in The Orleans, the hotel I stayed at. The second night there I met a cool gal that I spent most of the night with, until I walked her to her room at about 4 in the morning. (No kids, I don't follow the "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" motto. Both of us were probably drunk enough to do something, but its all about self control! Hug and a goodbye were all.) She was a fresh 21er in Vegas, using parental money and room as a base of operations just like me, heh. Anyway. The last night there I went to the Tourmanent of Kings at the Excaliber, which is basically like the Medieval Times place in The Cable Guy, with less jousting - it was alot more dissapointing this time then it used to be; they've axed alot of the fighting and added alot more showy stuff - not as fun.

Finally, I have come to Lake Elsinore in Southern California. Staying with my brother and his family until tomarrow, when I fly back to Seattle. My father is arriving here today to take over with my mom on the next part of her little selling trip to Texas; I can't say I won't miss the traveling, but I look forward to coming home and seeing my friends again.
I have had a pretty good amount of time to think about some stuff while i've been gone, and alot of the idiocy i've been perpetuating in the past few weeks before I left? I think thats donewith. I hope it is. I look forward to a new page in my book of life.

Ack! I forgot to buy something stupid and cheesy in Vegas for Kristen like I half jokingly told her I would; I looked, but couldn't find something that fit the bill; shoulda at least got something. Oh well.

See you all back home soon!
Hasta.
