TV Guide 2015.02.27: Cupcakes decoration + Q&A part

May 14, 2015 20:35

In case it hasn't been translated yet ^^

The theme is "wedding", and it's obviously linked with "wedding cake"! So we asked NEWS to decorate small versions of wedding cakes with each other's images in mind.

Massu's (cup)cakes, which he made stand out by taking a bite from each one :D
For Tegoshi: Tegoshi has a lot of sides to him, right? And blond hair, so I made the decorations this gaudy (lol)
For Koyama: Animals bathing in the creamy onsen (hot spring) represent Koyama's kindness. Naturally, while making it I was full of warm feelings, too!
For Kato: The theme is "sharp and kind". Cool monochrome chocolate is Shige's sharp side, marshmallows are his kind side. (=Tsundere? lol)

Koyama's cupcakes.
For Kato: The cake for Shige follows the "simple is the best" concept. Not overdoing equals manly, I think this style suits him.
For Masuda: Massu has an image of a cute bear, so I decorated his cake with a ton of bears! (lol)
For Tegoshi: In my mind, Tegoshi has a colorful image. And he smiles all the time, so on the top of the cake I put a smiling cookie (lol)

Shige's cupcakes, praised by everyone. "So a talent has blossomed which I actually don't need..."
For Koyama: He is like the moon and stars, don't you think so? He gently watches over everyone, and the lively colours show how he enjoys fooling around at times.
For Massu: The bear was meant to represent Massu, of course. And I chose white because I think it's simple but also cute.
For Tegoshi: Pink is his color in the group, and it's cute, too. The heart is his mischievousness, and the rose is the feeling of being pleased with himself!

Tegoshi's cupcakes.
For Koyama: This kid (the cookie) looks like Koyama, so. The chocolate got like this when I pressed it too much.
For Kato: I put the shark on the top because Shige likes fishing. And the cream around it is the ocean.
For Massu: Soft and cute?.. (small embarrassed laughter) I actually made the explanation up just now. It was fun making this cake, all the decorations show different sides of his personality!

Q&A
NEWS answer the questions making a choice between two options; they'll face all these when they get married, anyway. We asked them to imagine what kind of husbands they'll become in the future!

Shige
Will you do the housework? or you won't?
(1). Ideally, I'd like it to be "the first one who notices that something needs to be done does it".
Will you be a domineering husband? or will the wife keep you under her thumb?
(2) Even if I wanted to dominate, there are still plenty of ways for a woman to make a man do what she wants. When he comes home from work tired and she cheers him up, it'll most probably do the trick.
Will the anniversary be an important date for you? or not?
(1) It'll be a special day because my wife will be my very special person.
After a matrimonial quarrel, will you apologise first? or will you wait for her to apologise?
(1) To apologise first is what a man should do, I think.
A doting father? or a devoted husband?
(both) A dad who's trying to look at the world through his child's eyes is my ideal. I'll join the kids in teasing my wife (lol)

Koyama
Will you do the housework? or not?
(1) I want to share the chores.
A domineering husband? or Will the wife dominate?
(2) Seen as the head of the family by everyone but being, in fact, bossed around by my wife at home, I think that's the best.
Will the anniversary be an important date for you? or not really?
(1) To have dinners with our parents will be nice, too. I want to treasure everyone and everything important for my wife.
After a fight, will you apologise first? or will you wait for her to apologise?
(1) If she apologises first, I think I'll feel bad that she had to do that...
A doting father? or a devoted husband?
(2) I'd like my wife to always be a woman, above all, and I want our children to grow up seeing their parents this way.

Massu
Will you do the housework? or not?
(1) I'll ask her to do the cooking, but I'll help with cleaning and laundry.
A domineering husband? or Will the wife dominate?
(2) Seeming to be the boss, but in fact eating out of my wife's hand, that's how I'd like it to be.
Will the anniversary be an important date for you? or not?
(1) It doesn't have to be a pompous celebration, but I want to do something different from our everyday life.
After a fight, will you apologise first? or will you wait for her to apologise?
(1) Waiting until someone apologises to you... That makes a person so petty, doesn't it (lol)
A doting father? or a devoted husband?
(2) When I first heard SMAP-san's Lion Heart, I thought that I'd like to say to my kid, too: 'I love you second best in the world'.

Tegoshi
Will you do the housework? or not?
(1) I will if she tells me to. It's not that I hate any kind of housework.
A domineering husband? or Will the wife dominate?
(2) With a friend, I'd want to be in the lead by all means, but if it's a girl I'm in love with, to let her lead is probably better.
Will the anniversary be an important date for you? or not?
(1) It'll make her happy, so we'll celebrate.
After a fight, will you apologise first? or will you wait for her to apologise?
(1) If we were both wrong (he uses the English "even" here), I'll apologise.  As I'm a strong man, I want to show my respect towards her.
A doting father? or a devoted husband?
(2) I'll probably become a doting father for a girl. But anyway, I want to be lovey-dovey with my wife even when the kids are watching.
