So boss #1 is leaving in a couple of weeks so he can finish building his dream home. New #1 boss has that long to come up with the future direction before he takes over. Unlike the other changes, this one might actually impact me some how, but hopefully not too much.

We didn't get the tv room finished or the shed, but good progress was made on both. A good reason for the slow speed was that the tv room is where we stored pretty much everything during the remodel. Why are digital certificates so difficult?

What I want:

1. A root certificate from which to create a signing certificate
2. A signing certificate
3. A certificate to put on a device to validate code signed with the signing certificate
4. To be able to do all this with openssl or the Java keytool

I brought in a set of magnetic poetry to work since it wouldn't work on the new stainless steel fridge at home. It looked like a few people made use of it before it disappeared today. I've been busy but I have a reprieve. We're moved out of the hosue this week while the floors are being done and last week and this week were to be the final weeks of our project at work. The plasterers were supposed to come yesterday to build out the wall/column in the kitchen that had the wrong measurement in the plans. They didn't come. So they were supposed to come at 8AM today to fix it before the counter installers come at 9AM because it's supposed to be done before the counters. They aren't here yet ( Read more... )

Chevrolet HHR wagon - I saw there was a funky wagon in Consumer Reports and when we parked at the auto mall there it was. We walked up to take a look and they asked if we wanted to drive it.
