#22 - Suits Icons
[rambles about the icons (which you can totally ignore, lol)]
So, my icons for character20n20 were kind of all over the place. I love them all but really, it's a mess stylistically. Some are so crazy and abstract and others are super simple. My favorites are category #5 and friendship. I attempted to try monochrome based on a tutorial I saw on accios and that went pretty well. Frame was hard and that was super last-minute and idek. I like blocking too. However, laugh was so hard! Mike doesn't laugh a lot and ugh! I signed up for inspired20in20 and my batch was sooo hard to finish. When I first saw the post, I made 10 icons in two days and then... it was really hard. But, I found myself taking more time to create an icon and I actually had a really good time with it! I'm not a huge fan of #'s 9 and 10 but I do like the rest of them. It was weird to make so many icons with grey and orange since I usually don't experiment with those colors as much. I like blue and purple a lot and I like red too. And, all my Harvey icons were terrible and I've saved the PSD's and I AM going to redo them. Those were rough. BTW, I think I'm over Suits... FINALLY. It just took two 20 in 20's for it to get wiped out of the system. I've been watching OUAT again and finishing BrBa so maybe that'll be the next phase. Anyway... here are the icons!

[Inspirations..]
1. This was inspired by this icon made by monstersinyou. I used the similar green face and bright hair to make Donna into a witch that's perfect for Halloween!
2. This was inspired by this icon made by lady_turner. Again, I used a similar setup as the inspiration icon and it was really interesting to convert Harvey's normally brighter face into a pale vampire-like face. Thankfully, the original cap was pretty dark. I did cheat and use an online photo editor (picmonkey.com) to get the face's color since I was too lazy, lol.
3. So, this icon was inspired by the much better icon made by second_love. I loved her red coloring and I hadn't made a Katrina icon in forever so it meshed well.
4. Jessica is totally grim in this and the word grim inspired this icon.
5. In this particular scene, Mike is freaking out about probably getting caught that he's not a lawyer. So, the word doom inspired this icon and Mike is definitely afraid of the impending doom.
6. This was inspired by the word ruse. I admit, that was probably stretching it, but in the scene, Louis and Jeff are arguing, I suppose, and Jeff tricked Louis into thinking that he was gay. So, that was a ruse. Totally. I love the icon though, nonetheless.
7. This was inspired by this texture that was part of the set made by midnight_road. I loved this cap and even though it doesn't fit the trick category so much, I just had to icon it.
8. This was inspired by this texture that was part of the set made by midnight_road. I'm not a huge fan of this icon itself but I love Donna's expression and I had to icon it. But then, after sketching in some hair lines and adding the texture, I figured that it made a pretty good paint-like icon.

17. This was inspired by the word 'shadows' and it's definitely dark to fit the inspiration.
18. This icon was inspired by this icon made by naive_astronaut. I was mainly inspired by the b&w and the text usage but that was about it.
19. This was inspired by this icon made by lady_kingsley. I used the same profile crop and used dark coloring, but not the same as she did.
20. This icon is so weird but it was inspired by this texture and this texture made by lady-asmodina.
