SunNYT -1h15m with two errors and, after an hour, some googling.

Yeah, I don't do the crossword so much, but the tie-in to the Simpsons made this relevant enough to spend the morning on. I actually used the in-grid hidden message to help clarify some letters in parts I wasn't getting but the out-of-grid hidden message is probably the more impressive one constraint-wise. It still leaves a wonky fill in spots.

My nice surprise was in the middle of the grid. Someday I'll be more famous and 69A can become a clue like "Relatives of Dr. Sudoku" or, even more obscure but as a verb, "Races to deny others 1st place on a nikoli sudoku?" Other suggestions? (in the style of the puzzle's hidden message constraint preferred)

Also, given the episode's plot, is there anything we can do to make this underground betting ring start for puzzle tournaments? Did I already make someone go bankrupt/get rich when I lost in Philadelphia?
