Over our heads, spreading a
Radiant shroud of white.
Now Defoliates and Evergreens,
Uniformly dressed, rustle their
Sacred hymn of commemoration-
Man-made dogwood crucifix,
Ancient tool of torture and display,
Shall be remembered, this (acrostic)
