Starting with bumping into Christine at the train station and travelling together as far as Witham. And being reminded that there is a beer festival at the Dove this weekend, which we may be able to get to on Friday night before going away on Saturday.
Day of really good meetings where stuff just seemed to flow and people had done what they said they would. Best moment of the morning was someone's phone going off to the theme from "Psycho" in a roomful of people, just as someone asked a cliff edge type question. Perfect timing.
Then a text from Christine to say that Helen's been accepted onto a course at East 15, the course of her dreams. Go girl.
Somehow managed to fit in two interviews around the major meeting event of the day and found a really first rate project manager for a vital piece of work. Yippee (especially as I don't have to interim manage it any more).
Home by 4pm, when as I'd worked solidly since arriving at the office very early this morning, I felt justified in sitting next to the pond with a coffee and 'A brief history of the Dead'. And now Mo is cooking dinner and it smells wonderful.
