X-Men 3

Saw X-Men: The Last Stand tonight. I spent most of the movie groaning at the forced dialogue or trying to stab my brain which was busy trying to figure out all of the existent material from which they pieced together this hodge-podge mess of a script. I can't think of any part of this movie that was original in some way. The first two movies pulled enough from existent X-Men material to remain familiar, but otherwise told original stories. This was was some kind of Frankenstein's monster of story telling. No wonder Bryan Singer decided to produce House M.D. and direct Superman Returns. He probably saw the script for this X-Men movie and decided to get the heck out while the getting was good.

The effects were good. Nice explosions. That's about it. If this trend continues, I think I'd rather watch Torque 2 than a fourth X-men movie.

Kelsey Grammer obviously needed a paycheck.
