Well looks like I broke my 'I won't buy anything untill Christmas except for CNE' promis. But it was well worth it, and alow me to asplaine!
So over the weekend, I visited with my family on my mothers side for my birthday. We played the 'stay away and egnore Myron' game. It was fun. We also has a DQ blizzard cake. Dude, best cake EVER! Then I stayed with my grandfather for the rest of the weekend. I drove back up to Sudbury on Monday, bringing my mother along. Plus side: we used her car, which ment that we got to use air conditioning, which made Michael happy.
So today my mother and myself cheacked out 'dynamic earth'. It was alright. We got to learn how the mining evolved through the years in Sudbury, and walk through some undergrownd caves. It was kind of fun. After that I got to show my mom around facebook. After that, I dropped her off (pushed her out of a moving car) at her hotel to 'lay down' for a wile. I had my mothers car, and felt like a drive around.
Since my family had given me quite a bit of money for my birthday, I figured it was only fitting that I deposit said money in the bank. While I was at said bank, and HMV just happend to be there, I desided to peak my nose in and get a shinny new album for me from some of the moneys from my birthday. Who should be there? That's right, Due Drop. She was doing invintory on the used games. So since she didn't have responsibilities behind the desk, we got to talk for quite some time. After which she gave me her e-mail and facebook information.
I walked out lighter than air and have been smiling ever since. To top it all off, I walked out with Opeth's "Ghost Reveries" and the DVD concert "Lamentations". And tonight, my mom is paying for dinner AND we're seeing "prehistoric Monsters of the Deep" at the Imax...IN 3D!!! Can this day get any better? I just don't know.
