[There's not a whole lot one god without her powers can do in this situation. But Okami Amaterasu is not the type to sit back and wait for other people to defend the innocent--and she's sure that at least some of the people trapped in this town count as the innocent. She decides that it's on her to do what she can do

[There's a familiar wolf running around, trying to avoid the hazmats.]

[Amaterasu stops as she catches sight of Aisling, sets down the radio, and issues a worried bark in her direction. You should be inside!]

[wolf_faerie]

[Aisling looks around nervously, and gives out a worries whimper. She's only scouting out the area to see how many hazmats there are, and she knows she should be inside, but she's still scared.]

[mothersandsuns]

[Ammy leans over to nuzzle Aisling reassuringly--a nuzzle that turns into a gentle but stern headbutt. Don't let the fear get to you! She's here to watch out for you, and everything will be better soon.]

[wolf_faerie]

[Aisling pauses, and then lets out a growl, not because she's angry but because she's trying to feel more confident herself. She then gives the radio in Ammy's mouth a quizzical look. Why is she carrying it?]

[mothersandsuns]

[Ammy sets the radio down, then barks approvingly at the strands of confidence in that growl. That's the spirit! Then she pushes a button to turn the radio on, at which point she looks about alertly. Then she turns it off again and cocks her head to one side curiously. Where is it coming from? If she can find out, maybe she can fix things!]

[wolf_faerie]

[Well, Aisling's never thought of that before. She jumps a bit when the radio turns on, but when Ammy turns it off she sniffs it cautiously and starts to look around herself. She isn't that sure how radios work...]

[mothersandsuns]

[To be honest, Amaterasu is even less sure how radios work. They didn't have anything remotely like them in Nippon. She pushes it a little, only to make it tip over. Whoops.]

[wolf_faerie]

[Aisling continues to sniff at it, wondering if they can find anything that way.]

[mothersandsuns]

[Nothing. After a few minutes, Ammy sadly rights the radio again, turns it on, and picks it back up in her mouth. She'll figure something out!]
