[Quinn's putting up lights around the fence, and well, anything else he can. The drone wife had been on his case about it, and it's a nice distraction for the day. He'd much rather be doing this back home for his family, and it shows in his lonely expression. Still, he's humming some Christmas songs to himself as his works.]

[If Quinn's putting lights up wasn't reason enough to go to him, that lonely look he has would be. Ammy trots on over, approaching him from behind, and whines softly, gently. You're not alone!]

[He stops and turns around. What a pretty dog~]

Oh, hey there, pretty pooch. What's up? [He squats down to say hi. He's pretty tall after all.]

[He called her pretty--that's the magic word! She reaches out to give him a friendly nudge.]

[techno_mancer]

[He grins and gives you a friendly pat on the head.]

My, you're a friendly one, ain't ya? Ya lookin' for somethin' to eat, maybe?

[Well, not exactly. But she gives a hopeful yap at the suggestion. It's not like she's ever going to turn down food.]

[He chuckles.] Yeah? Some how I didn't doubt it. C'mon. The drone wife's always cookin' her butt off, so we got plenty to share.

[He tosses the lights aside for now, and waves you to the house with him. He could use to warm up anyway.]

[Ammy takes a moment to pick up the lights in her mouth and drape the last of this string over a bush. Then she trots happily after.]

[He turns to see if you're following when he catches you doing that. It surprises him.]

Hey, thanks. A pup with decorating sense, huh? I'm guessing you're not like the rest of the pets in town, huh.

[mothersandsuns]

[She confirms that with a brief bark. No, she's not your average dog. Or even your average wolf.]

Nice! I guess if Mayfield pulls in all sorts of people, it'll pull in sorts of animals too. Hell, there's a dragon living a few streets over, even.

[He waves you on into the house. Company is company, or so he believes.] C'mon. Don't mind the drones, okay?
