[The great goddess Amaterasu is from a world that knows no Christmas. She does, however, know the passing of the seasons, and the way the sun rises and sets with each one. She can tell that the days are shortening; she can feel it in her divine bones. So when she sees people putting up lights, she draws the obvious conclusion: they are trying to encourage the sun to make it through this tough time.

Amaterasu appreciates the little things mortals do to help her, and she'd like to show it.

So to every household that's put out Christmas lights, she goes around, paws at the doorbell, waits for someone to answer, and barks joyfully and gratefully. She'd give them some food or a Traveler's Charm if she could, but she doesn't have any of that, so her happy doggy face will have to do.

Now, mostly it's drones who answer her call, stare at her neutrally, say, "Good doggy," then shut the door again without bothering to comment on the oddness of the situation. But if someone else happens to live in a household where a drone family member has put up lights--or if they've gone to the trouble of putting up lights themselves--they'll get a visit from Ammy, too.]

[OOC: HMD is here if you feel the need!]
