10-Day Forecast?
it boggles my mind that while looking up the 10-Day weather forecast for florence ill see the weather for the day i arrive. it is going to be such nice weather, i cant wait! high 80's-low 90's during the day and low-mid 60's for the evenings.
i have officially left the northwest and started my journey down the west coast yesterday evening. i stopped in portland to stay the night at my best friend lahaina's house. we woke up before the sun this morning (5am) and started driving south to san francisco where we parked my car at my aunt jane's friends house and caught the bart to the airport. it is now almost 9pm and we are waiting for our flight to las vegas, where we will arrive at midnight. long day of traveling, eh?
it wont compare to the traveling ill be doing starting monday evening. my flight leaves out of lax at 7am on tuesday so dad is just going to drive me around midnight the night before and get me there just 3 hours before my flight leaves. ill arrive the following day (wednesday) at noon florence time. i managed to get 6 months worth of stuff into 1 medium sized rolly bag, 1 backpack and 1 small carry-on bag! thanks to sarelle's amazing packing skills, i managed to shrink my luggage a ton.
now for my final weekend in the states...
i plan to enjoy my family and las vegas besties as much as possible. i just want to relax, do a lot of yoga, listen to good music all of the time and cook super delicious food.
