Hot on the heels of (allegedly) forcing a whole bunch of people to resettle and physically move their homes it apparently now comes to light (from a slightly more mainstream souce) that China is apparently aiming for government control of reincarnation, apparently in a bid for control of the succession of the Dalai Lama.
