I think it's been mentioned before but a contact list by player would be pretty spiffy since a lot of people play multiple characters.

Also, maybe a post with a list of actual businesses and places on the ship with a minor description of what it is/what they do. Just a few for people to use if they wanna get random CR through open logs or whatever. On that note, if that list comes to be, maybe some kind of form so players can suggest and add various businesses, shops, places, etc so there's some kind of common ground as far as posting about character A being at point B.

Just a clarification! Making up your own facts/areas is fine! The only time you'd need clarification is if you're making up an entirely new section of the ship. So don't worry, WE COO'.
