Y'know what's funny? My main reason for joining lj in the first place was to be part of the bones_rewatch community, so I could fangirl to my heart's content. Yet I don't think I've seen even one episode of Bones all summer. Instead, my tv time has been taken up by sytycd, Pushing Daisies, and True Blood. It's not that my love for this show has diminished; it's still my favorite. I need the new season to start like, yesterday. And I continue to read (most) spoilers like they're going out of style (though I have been avoiding the sides lately, as the first set nearly gave me a heart attack). It's just that my excitement is more reserved now. Ever since Hart failed to follow through on the hype he created for the finale, I've been erring on the side of caution. I lack the enthusiasm of seasons past. Until now, that is.
So I guess Fox decided that a good time to start its promotional campaign for Bones would be while I was in New York. There was a ton of stuff available for me to check out by the time I returned home. Like, say, the awesome 30 second ad that aired during the finale of sytycd. This alone was responsible for doing me in. I am officially giddy. And really, how could I not be? Just check it:
See? 'Cause I mean, according to this promo:
Booth is-scruffy (!), crazy, hot
-in love with Brennan, and TOTALLY KNOWS IT. Oh, my god that LOOK.
Brennan is-adorable, confused, hot
-still pwning people left and right
Cam is-intuitive, all knowing, hot
-the HBIC. Don't even try and deny it, there's just no use.
And then there's the other spot. Much shorter than the first, yes, but still unbelievably cute. Honestly, guys, how is it even possible to fit that much adorable in 11 seconds? Look:
Seriously. SERIOUSLY. I love the way they duck behind a folder, and how Brennan allows herself that small, sweet smile. And even her punching Booth in the arm is somehow endearing (as is the smile he shoots at her in return). As if that weren't enough, there are also some really great art posters floating around. My favorite is easily this film noir one:
Can you say sexy? Well actually, TJ and Tamara both can, as is evidenced by these HOT promo pics (which, incidentally, also feature the return of suspenders!Booth. Score!)
I know, right? I'm so glad TJ is still maintaining his shorter 'do. Yeah, he was cute before, but he's in a whole other league now. And Tamara, well, girlfriend is really just workin' it here. Is this cast gorgeous, or what? Oh, and because I feel like one can never get enough of the hotness that is David and Emily together, I'm gonna go ahead and throw this one in for good measure:
Pretty awesome, huh? Not even the lame ass, overly photo shopped group shot (which I will NOT be including, due to the fug) can do anything to subdue me. I'm beyond excited, now.
