Annual 'Not Dead Yet' post
Yep, still in the land of the living.
House is still awesome, job is still awesome (even got a very nice raise this year), and Buns did indeed get hired the same place, so our income is settled again. Yay!
Only major downer for the year is that the lung cancer finally got my dad right before Christmas, which sucks, but he made it three years longer than they'd initially figured. I did at least get to go out west to see him right beforehand...
Gonna try to start following and responding to posts like a real human being again. We'll see how that turns out. : )
(Which also means I'll be switching to Dreamwidth to follow anybody who crossposts with LJ, instead of following both places.)
