I watched Jarhead yesterday. It's not the best movie to watch with one's mother, but I liked it. It really stressed that just because Desert Storm only lasted four and a half days, it truly was devastating to the soldiers involved. That and Jake Gyllenhaal was briefly naked and constantly shirtless. Sexual tension, anyone? I had to pretend not to be bothered, as my Mother was sitting next to me... but I can sum up my feelings in one moment.

Other than this, I suck at nano. Officially. I need to write a lot tomorrow to make up for my utter lack of progress. My Mother wants me to go out with her though, so I might be doing a lot of writing at Olive Garden. My brother always picks on me about bringing my notebook out. =P "How studious you look!" my mother will say, and my brother will stifle his forced laughter and say, "Nah. Just dorky." And then I'll glance at him rudely in jest as I usually do. It's like a weird family ritual.
A boy who likes me keeps calling my house and then hanging up.
Poor thing. I have caller ID. =(
I'll just pretend I don't so he doesn't get embaressed.
