What's with these homies dissing my girl?
Wow. I'm getting things done pretty well today. I've almost met my daily word count for nano today and I've still got plenty of time to finish up my Algebra II homework. I can only describe this as sweet. Props to Brenton for sending me that e-mail reminding me.
I was having a shitty day until four o' clock or so because I realized how much I hate teenagers.
Today, my friend Lauren was advising her friend Samantha in the locker room. Lauren told Sam not to give her boyfriend Cody oral sex because she's feeling pressured into it but because she wants to do it. A few girls walked into the locker room and heard the last few words of Lauren's sentence. They now unfairly assume that Lauren, the most innocent girl you'll ever meet, is promiscuous and are being generally vicious towards her. I wasn't going to get involved because I need to let Lauren stand up for herself. (I have a bad habit of standing up for people too much.) Lauren was really frustrated about it because one of the girls, BJ (haha. ironic.) was yelling to Lauren through the buswindow that Lauren needed to stop being inappropriate and accused her of some downright rude things.
I was apalled. If she's too much of an idiot to figure that she didn't know the context of the conversation, then she doesn't need to be running her mouth on about anything. Go back to gradeschool. Jesus christ. Plus, her hair is a really ugly yellow.
This and the amount of work I've accomplished made it all better, though.
I hope Lauren's fairing well.
