Our fandom is such a generous and rewarding community. Recently I've got so many awards and nominations that it's a bit scary. Being a Joss fan, I wonder - where's the catch?

I was a bit overwhelmed by the discussion of Buffy issue #35 in my LJ. 200-plus comments and counting! I'm sorry if I haven't replied to all comments - I'm slowly catching up and I discover incredible insights into BtVS, Buffy, Angel, Spike, fanfiction, fandom in general, etc.

I was away for a week, skiing at a remote ski camp that doesn't have Internet. And as soon as I got back there are two news at once.

Yay! The Fang Fetish Awards have been posted and my fic SHE WILL REMEMBER HIM? won a Judge's Choice award. I'm amazed that my little outrageous fic continues to draw attention.
