Today is the last day to sign up for femslash10! And we are closing them right at midnight, because tomorrow I have an all-day IM date with callmesandy to do the assignments. (Always one of the best days of my year, 'cause I get to spend the whole day with one of my favorite people.) But the point is, if you're gonna sign up, you should hurry! And you should sign up, because the requests are fabulous this year.
And also! Thursday night I went to the Adam Lambert show! And it was glorious. I didn't take notes and had a few drinks plus analgesics for my tinnitus, so I'm not really capable of a concert report, except to say that he sang and performed beautifully and is absolutely captivating on stage. I remember "If I Had You," "Music Again," and "Mad World" being particularly amazing. I got lost in the music and swayed like an indie kid, totally out of place and not caring.
Afterward, I got to meet scribblinlenore and mistresscurvy and no_detective! All of whom are as wonderful in the real world as they are on LJ.
And now I am listening to Shearwater because I am popped out.
