I love how his post-retirement philosophy of choreography is to just turn whatever he's obsessed with on his iPod into a program. Like, a real program that interprets the music. Jumps are pretty busted up, but he's gyrating to the Stones, so who cares?
Meanwhile, a Japanese talk show took Daisuke Takahashi shopping for housewares. Dai cannot stop laughing the entire time.
Here's your first look at the newly formed team of Becky Bereswill and Trevor Young. She never quite made it out of juniors in singles, and he's been middle-of-the pack with another pairs partner who's not as good as he is. Bereswill is gorgeous and willowy, very Tanith, and their chemistry is already great. People of course are already saying they'll never get far because Bereswill is too tall, but I say the haters need to wait and see. At the very least, they're lovely show skaters. And his joy when they land their throw jump is priceless.
