So I guess I'm back on LJ and DW. I'm still not done with everything I wanted to be, work-wise, but I'm feeling refreshed, which was really the point after all. I'm going to try to reply to my backlog of comments today. I'm working on an issue of handbasketnews, so I might not get back to my friendslist until tomorrow.
My official excuse is that it took me this long to process the whole Tessa Virtue/David Pelletier thing. I'd heard about it as early as last fall, but I think the Canadian adultery tour bus drama is out of the bag now. It's a fiesta of poor life choices. The only one who comes out of this looking good is Scott Moir. (And Jeff Buttle. Jeff Buttle escapes everything unscathed.)
thexpuzzler and I have gotten hooked on our own superhero AU. I've got a bunch of vignettes scrawled into notebooks that I have to type up. Some of them are on graph paper. It's been a crazy couple of weeks.
I Love Local Commercials is my new favorite website. I might have even tortured co-workers with it. Watch "Butt Drugs" and "The Red House" in particular.
