Brenda's at it again.

I finally watched The Peacekeeper Wars. It was just waiting in my DVD player for the unfortunate convergence of cable outage and the attack of the campus cold. It was... overwhelming. I mean, there's a lot there, and I'm not sure I have reactions to it yet. I might have to watch it again ( Read more... )

Without a Trace but no CSI?

Yep. I like WaT. CSI bores me. There is no logic to this, I'm afraid. Even if I did like CSI, though, I'd rather watch Grey's.

Huh. I got sucked into watching WaT but find CSI consistently better written (though not unproblematic). I'm not invested in arguing the point, though. GA is too soap-opera-y for me to get into. (I would be willing to make the effort but CSI trumps it like whoa for me.)

You hadn't seen Peacekeeper Wars? O.O

Suddenly I begin to understand your reaction to my very delayed introduction to Firefly. 'Cause, Peacekeeper Wars? Is just... like, whoa.

I will probably also watch Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. I will probably not watch Gilmore Girls. The thrill is gone babe, gone away.

I have nothing to suggest, 'cause you're watching more new shows than I will. I'll likely do my usual trick of waiting until you've braved reviewed the first few episodes before I watch anything else.

I'd held off on watching PKW because I hadn't seen most of S4 of Farscape. I finally watched it because that situation has changed, and because one of my grad school friends was like, no, you will watch this RIGHT NOW.

I can't promise reviews, but for you, I shall try.

Very little in common, actually -- like I said, fandom is over there and I am over here with my reality TV. Oh, well.

I don't know what Smith is, but I'm going to be totally evil and hope that it sucks, so that I won't be alone in watching Sucktastic Vagina Unit.

Also, no ER? Not even the premiere, at least? There will be an ANUSLESS baby. That's totally a reason to watch.

If history is any kind of precedent, I will be back to Sucktastic Vagina Unit by November.

I am still too bitter at ER to watch it. And I'm especially bitter about the fucking ER babies. They're doctors, surely if anyone would know how to use a condom, you know?

Sigh. Tuesdays are sort of a landscape of sad. SVU actually used to be pretty good, until they let the less hot DA sue Donald Rumsfeld.

Also, poor Gilmore Girls. I spent my summer watching some of my favorite parts of Season 4 (Spring break and the power of myth!), which helped with denial. and now I am just going to be bitter.

Sometimes, I think I will eventually watch ANTM.

Well, VMars might still be good. I am holding out hope. I have a feeling I'm going to be writing reviews of GG like the ones I wrote of ER a couple of years ago. SVU, I don't know, it's good background noise for grading, and it's gotten so charmingly ludicrous.

ANTM? Rocked so hard last night.
