"For Women Only"

So I'm reading this book...

I just got it yesterday at Borders, and I really like it so far.

(Click on the picture to go to the book's Amazon.com page.)

It's written by a Christian woman, so there are some biblical principals in it, but mostly it's just about how women relate to men and what women don't fully grasp about the way men think and feel. The author surveyed/interviewed over 1000 men and presents what she found in the book so that women can understand men's thought processes more fully and communicate/interact with them better in relationships. A lot of it is about husbands and wives, and I'm no where NEAR that stage of life, but I'm getting a lot out of the book. It's definitely making me re-think the ways I interact with the men in my life: my dad, my brother, my friends. And who knows? Maybe it'll help me when I do get into a relationship.

There's also a book by the same author (and her husband) called For Men Only about the way women think and feel. I looked at the table of contents on Amazon.com, and I'm kind of curious to read that one, too, just to see what it says and if I find it true of myself.

Anyway, I do recommend the book. The biblical references are few and far between, so if you aren't interested in Christian theology, that shouldn't be a huge road block for you.

And now I'm off to make cookies. :) Hope you are all having a wonderful Saturday!
