The Friday Five
I haven't done a Friday Five in AGES, but this one was about books, so I couldn't resist!
1. Do you enjoy reading?
I absolutely love it!
2. What is the first book you remember reading?
There were probably picture books and such before this, but I vividly remember Charlotte's Web by E.B. White being the first chapter book I read by myself. I've loved it ever since.
3. Who is your favourite author?
C.S. Lewis. I'm sure I've said this before, but I love all of his writing. I admire the diversity of his writing, too. He could write fiction and non-fiction, children's books and theological arguments, science fiction and realistic fiction. I have yet to read something of his that I don't just absolutely love.
4. What is your favourite book?
A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L'Engle. It makes me cry (in a good way) every time.
5. What is the last book you read and the first you'll read next?
I just finished Let it Snow, a collection of three short stories by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle. And I think my next book will be The Story of Edgar Sawtelle. I've had it for about 5 months and I haven't gotten around to reading it yet.
