Can I just mention how much I'm hating all of you who are going to SDCC this year? 'Kay... mentioned. *sends smooches and requests for autographs ;)*
If you're going to Bristol this weekend (or pretty much any other weekend this summer) make sure you stop by Felix's and say hi to me. :) (Oh yeah... looking forward to the 95-degree weather all weekend, with me in my 27 layers of clothes. :p )
I'm excited that it's opening weekend, but I also wish I was in Pennsylvania this weekend. Not 'cause of that convention that's going on (not that I have anything against the organizers-- I just have no interest in being there aside from maybe seeing a couple of people that I haven't seen in far too long (*cough*jadedfox*cough*lanakila*cough*)) but because Dexter Freebish is back together for a show and I REALLY want to be there with all the other Rock Boaters who are flying in for the show. *grump*
(ETA: Oh... I was wrong... the Dexter Freebish show is in 2 weeks. It's the Carbon Leaf/Stephen Kellogg & The Sixers/Pat McGee Band show in Vienna, VA, that I wish I was at tonight.)
Ok... I'm outta here. I'm still trying to decide whether I want to drive up to Milwaukee to go to Summerfest tonight or not. On one hand, ugh. But on the other, it's a chance to see We The Living headlining one of the stages, and I miss those guys and haven't seen them in like a year.
