Life's a dance, as Arthur says

It keeps going a million miles an hour. This weekend is the Basic Drum Circle Facilitators Training with Arthur Hull here in Concord. And Arthur is staying with us *for a week*. I really love him and it's been beyond awesome to spend this time with him. But no matter who it is, it's stressful to have anyone in your house for a week, and if you know Arthur you know that he's full of energy and not a wallflower that you wouldn't notice.

Last night we brought him along on a drumming gig for a new-agey healing ceremony that we were asked to play for. We didn't tell anyone he was coming, and it was fun to see Jon and Lisa's reaction when they saw who came to play with us. :-)

Getting ready for Twilight Covening (co-leading Monkey Clan with Sparky) next weekend, and also going to a writing workshop with Marge Piercy at Rowe later in October. And somewhere in there I am also working at my job (where things have moved through the crunchy stuff to a better place), working on Fire Family Council stuff, and dealing with family stuff. Spent 90 minutes at Kaylin's school yesterday talking to teacher and assistant principal. This parenting journey is going to take a huge amount of energy for a long time to come. Good thing I love the boy so much.

Life's a dance!
