Some incoherent squeeing, some rambling, and who knows what else because I've had a few glasses of red wine and I'm feeling pretty good. Whee!
Now we see where Lee gets his willingness to break regulations in the name of justice and the higher good.
More Adama/Roslin. Sigh.
Lee and Kara, OMG! Now he's aiding and abetting her insubordination. How much do I love them? *thiiiiiiiiiiiis much!*
I have no problem justifying killing or torture in certain circumstances, both in real life and in fiction, but rape crosses the line for me. I can never find any justification for it. Which leads to...
...perhaps the writers shouldn't have made Admiral Cain and some of her crew so dreadful. It's too easy when the admiral shot her XO in the CIC, allowed the gang rape of the Six-model prisoner (great for discipline - wonder how her female crew feel about that), and automatically condemned Tyrol and Helo. She was technically right about transferring Lee and Kara (who should take this opportunity to screw like crazed weasels, by the way), but after all that other stuff there's no way I can avoid hating her and her asshole CAG and her rapist crew members and her whole damn battlestar.
All in all, I was very happy with "Pegasus," although I hope the battlestar by that name won't be around for long if her people are going to behave like that.
*vaguely recalls the Pegasus from the original series, and decides to shut up about that for now*
After all the "I'm coming to get my men!" promos, the cliffhanger wasn't a huge surprise, but still!
I think I need to rewatch tomorrow when I'm sober.
No more BSG until January! *wails*
