City Hunter: The End!

Aug 19, 2012 00:02

I spent the last fifteen minutes of the final episode crying, and not in a pretty, single-crystalline-tear fashion either. (Can real people actually cry prettily? I've only ever seen it managed onscreen - and there were some fine examples of it in City Hunter.)

So now my nose is stuffed up and my eyes are red, and I am completely satisfied with how things went down in the end, although not quite so much by the sidelining of Nana in the last few episodes. Seems she could have been given a lot more to do. Even so, there was more than enough of Yoon Sung being tormented/steely/badass to keep me happy.

The only thing I didn't really foresee was the death of pretty prosecutor, but I should have known he was a goner as soon as he reconciled with his ex-wife.

Now on to the next drama, from the number available for streaming at Netflix. Maybe something a little lighter this time?
