Lee and Sark
Gah! We're having our first snow of the season, and it's completely ruining our satellite reception. BSG at 9:00 is not looking good. I've set the Tivo to record the episode when it's on again at 10:00 and midnight. If that doesn't work, it's iTunes or waiting until it's on again on the 23rd.
For the moment, I'm consoling myself with beer and possibly more Alias, although I'm not certain that Alias will necessarily be all that consoling.
I guess I'll be dealing with the Sark fiasco the same way I've been dealing with the Lee Adama one: denial denial DENIAL. As in "Black Market" never happened and my Lee Adama didn't pudge out or become mysteriously irrelevant. Not that I'm bitter or anything.
For Alias, I think I'll stick with redrover1980's epic (and woefully unfinished) fanfic Complicity - which branched off from canon after 3.10 "Remnants" - as my non-suck version of "canon." It's only about a thousand times better than the actual show.
This coping mechanism really does keep idiotic decisions by TPTB from ruining beloved characters for me. Which just goes to show that being a bit mental can be a good thing.
ETA: The flist is all mostly watching BSG right now, and I am not. So. unfair.
ETA2: Alias 3.15 "Façade" - Yes, Sark! Kill Vaughn! Kill him and then take his women for your own. Both of them!
