After many years, exactly how many i'm not completely sure, my dad started his first day at his new job!
He has been pursuing a graduate degree in architecture, and landed himself a job at an arhchitectural landscapping place doing drafting and such. It is an entry ;eve; position, but the person he will be assissting (an architect for 10 years) was int he exact same program he is in at school. So he will have no problem pursuing his degree, and will be able to learn from an experieinced person in the field. While the money isn't great, it pays a lot better then being unemployed. The experience and resume stuff he gets from this will be even more valuable.
In other news, my new bike is holy wow! I've put like 600 miles on it, and this thing is unbelieveable. It's comfortable as hell, so I've done a few trips to philly on it. But it's so damnnnnn fast. It's like being on the bussiness end of god's own louisville slugger, I tell ya!
And with a second gear that tops out at 110, what would you expect?
