PBCD Putnam and Dutchess

Sunny. 14-28°F but not windy. Except for the low temperature, this is actually good weather. As I left home this morning, I thought it was very cold but I got used to it after a while. I went to Putnam County by way of the Bear Mountain Bridge. Did geocaches in Cold Spring (appropriate place to begin on a cold day), and continued northwards to Beacon and Fishkill, and further north to Millbrook and Union Vale. To reduce exposure to the cold, I cherry-picked geocaches where the walk was under 0.2 of a mile. Many were close to the street. Only the last one was a bit harsh because I had to hold on to the boulder when climbing up and that was one frigid rock!

Dinner was fried fish at LJS in New Windsor. I haven't been there in a long while even though it is the closest one to home. I just don't do very many Orange County trips that end on that side of the county.
