Groundhog Day After

Yesterday, I went to Houlihan's in North Wales, Pennsylvania, for the Groundhog Day After geocaching event. It was my first Pennsylvania event of the year so it was nice to catch up with the local geocaching crowd. The event location is between Philly and Lehigh Valley, so we had attendees from both regions, as well as from areas further North and West. All in all, it was a decent-sized crowd. We chatted about geocaching in the area and traded travel bugs. I brought two bags of travel bugs to the table and filled up one bag on my way out. Also, I had Houlihan's fish tacos.

What happened after the event was pretty fun too. Mafia Boss, Eyeball & Chain, and I were doing the same set of geocaches so we teamed up and did 7 geocaches together, taking turns at leading the way. We crossed paths with other teams along the way too. After the 7 geocaches, we split up and I went off to do a bunch more, finishing up in the evening with the last cache just north of Oxford Valley. I got takeout dinner from Wawa stores in Horsham, Levittown, and North Brunswick. I knew I'd be passing more than one Wawa store on my way home so I didn't have to get everything at once.

While at the Groundhog Day After event, I heard of a breakfast event coming up next month in South Jersey, just a week after a breakfast event in Lehigh Valley. Looks like we're heading into geocaching event season!
