Bella wasn't really sure what exactly Cross wanted from her. She had posted saying she was trying to get back home when he told her to come to the Dark Order Headquarters. It had taken her awhile, but she finally figured out how to get there. She had some time to spare anyways. Alice knew where she was so she didn't have to worry about getting home

Bella gave Cross an unamused look when he picked her up and set her on the ledge of a window that seemed to come from nowhere. She could have got on the ledge herself and it felt weird when people picked her up still, even though everyone in Edward's family had done that to her at least once or twice.
There was no denying, though, that Bella was curious now about why Cross had brought her out here. This was the first time she'd really met him in person. Somehow, she wasn't surprised. He was exactly like she thought he would be, which wasn't too bad a thing.

Bella approached Klaud's room and knocked lightly on the door, hoping Klaud would know what to do about this. So far all Cross had managed to do was question her and confuse her.

Cross hadn't helped. Of course, she thought as she ran the brush through her hair, when was he ever helpful? Excluding those few occasions that he actually provided a few explanations for strange occurrences concerning the war.
Lau Jimin, the small monkey, sat next to her on the bed. She was just about ready to pull her hair back up into it's usual position, when the door knocked. With quiet grace, she walked over to it and opened it, only to blink at the visitor.
It should have been highly noted that Klaud had only ever seen Bella as a parrot. So this visit struck her odd, but she was polite through and through ( ... )

Klaud was astonishingly beautiful, though. She reminded Bella of Rosalie for a moment. Beautiful, graceful, confident.
Bella squirmed a little under Klaud's gaze, feeling awkward for just turning up like this. "Umm, yeah," Bella said softly so others couldn't hear but Klaud. "Cross sent me."

It reminded her everyday just how important this war was to her. And to them. "Have a seat. Would you like some water? Tea?" Kalud looked up at Bella for an answer.
