Bella wasn't really sure what exactly Cross wanted from her. She had posted saying she was trying to get back home when he told her to come to the Dark Order Headquarters. It had taken her awhile, but she finally figured out how to get there. She had some time to spare anyways. Alice knew where she was so she didn't have to worry about getting home

Bella about screamed when Cross grabbed her suddenly, but managed to keep herself in check when she realized it was him. It didn't take her long to figure out that he was going for secrecy, so she decided to go along with it. And what was with him? Maria? This was strange... then again, this wasn't her Earth anymore.

"Cross, what's going on?" She asked him.

[mortally]

"Apparently its important enough to get me out here," Bella commented.

Bella gave Cross an unamused look when he picked her up and set her on the ledge of a window that seemed to come from nowhere. She could have got on the ledge herself and it felt weird when people picked her up still, even though everyone in Edward's family had done that to her at least once or twice.

There was no denying, though, that Bella was curious now about why Cross had brought her out here. This was the first time she'd really met him in person. Somehow, she wasn't surprised. He was exactly like she thought he would be, which wasn't too bad a thing.

"Why does that not surprise me?"

This just got stranger by the minute, but she wasn't going to debate it. She crossed over the ledge into the building, grabbing Maria like Cross asked. What was Maria anyways? She would have to ask him about it later if he didn't explain.

Once inside Bella stepped to the side and waited for Cross to come in as well. She was just following his lead at this point.

Bella noted the inspector and raised a questioning eyebrow, but she did as Cross said and didn't ask any questions. She would get her answers later anyways.

Maria was what had Bella interested most right now. She still didn't understand what Maria was, but the thing seemed to be able to do a lot of things. Definitely useful...

Bella followed Cross down a hallway. She hoped he was going to be leading her back out as she had no idea where she was or how to leave at this point. He wouldn't be so cruel as to leave her to get out on her own... or would he? She'd rather he not.

Bella merely stared at where the coffin had been and where Maria had been as well. She wanted to know more about this world now. She wondered if she would like half of what she heard, though. Wasn't she best friends with the enemy here?

"That was strange," She said simply. She looked over the room they were in. She guessed it was his or something private at least if they were trying to be avoided.

"What exactly is this all about anyways?" She asked him.

Bella understood what he meant by the gesture about the bug. She would watch herself and play his game. She didn't need to draw attention to this from the inspectors. Especially since she was friends with the Noahs. That would cause more problems than she needed right now and she didn't want to get involved in anything.

Still, Bella felt awkward at him pulling her in his arms. He had better watch himself or she would make him regret it. She still had Edward back home. She pulled away from him slightly and nodded to let him know she understood.

"Of course he can. Its what the man expects from the company that I'm curious about," She said, keeping vague so as not to alert anyone who might be listening.

Right now Bella was doing her best not to get to awkward by the situation. It was clear to her now what Cross wanted. She couldn't blame him, but she was not going to be a part of this game.

"Glad you seem to think so," She said in response to his first statement.

She glared at him slightly now. "No. I was doing my best to avoid the others. I don't want anything to do with them. I'm not your spy, Cross."
