.:I:. Not a whimper, not a simulacra of a whimper, as I raped the maiden snow

And thus the virginity of parchment has been broken with this tentative entry. I had certain qualms about it, almost similar to what a painter must feel before deliberatelly blotching the canvas with the first brushes. It needs not saying, however, that usually such painters are merely amateurs afraid of the great vastness of their tools. One ( Read more... )

The Registry system is quite flawed. That's what we'd set out to prove by signing up in the first place, and being taken off rather pushes the point home, don't you agree?

Although I admit I have difficulty believing you'd feel it was unjust if it wasn't an inconvenience to you personally.

Ah, now I see it was a truly devious plan that you've concocted. What can I say - it IS working, much to my and a lot of others' chagrin.

However, Weasley, your point is an incorrect one, as always, considering I consider it unjust exactly because so many accomplices of mine had been affected.

As I said, a personal inconvience. I didn't mean it affected only you. Your dislike isn't on principle, it's because this affects yourself and people you care about or are connected to, in some way or another. Personal.

You have such a weird understanding of the personal, Weasley, I would have taken you for an uneducated aborigine of New Guinea, if it weren't for the sure fact that everyone knows of your origin. Perhaps where you come from, 'personal' is wide enough a concept to include anyone who isn't you, but where I come from 'personal' is only fit to mean one person and that's Myself.

Your definition is far too narrow. Here, I'll save you the trouble of looking it up:

personal - adj. Of, relating to, or restricted to a natural person and his or her rights, obligations, affairs, assets, or lifetime

Are you telling me that your 'accomplices' aren't part of your affairs, assets, or life?

No one is a part of my affairs, assets, or life. That would be far too great an honour coming from me. Our roads merely cross from time to time. Although I doubt you would understand that.

You're right. I don't.

Then again, it isn't surprising, is it, Weasley?

What? That you fail to consider anyone but yourself or that I don't? Although I suppose the answer to both is the same. Not surprising in the least.

No, that you would fail to understand such simple truth, rather. Although what you have there could work too.
