And thus the virginity of parchment has been broken with this tentative entry. I had certain qualms about it, almost similar to what a painter must feel before deliberatelly blotching the canvas with the first brushes. It needs not saying, however, that usually such painters are merely amateurs afraid of the great vastness of their tools. One cannot master that, which is superior to one, of course. With my previous journal gone, this shall serve better.

That said, I do not find it beneath myself to note that the Ministry's behavior is truly deserving of our utmost concern. The politics of prejudice and favouritism that the institution has adopted since lately leaves much to be desired and does, indeed, call for public attention and action. If all that is necessary for one to get off of the Ministry registry is to be connected to one Mr. Saviour - I'd gladly sign up, where is the petition?
