HALP
okay guys, my life is pretty much in order, so its time to get back to helping those who need it.
my BEST friend, in the entire world, needs help. I've known her for seven years (since she was ELEVEN and I about 13 i think), and for the entirety of those seven years she's been dealing with a load of bullshit her life has loaded onto her. I won't detail too much here to respect her privacy, but trust me when I say she's had it harder than ninety percent of the people I know.
She's in a very bad situation with a very bad man. No, not a man, a boy, because no man would treat a woman that way. I hate seeing her being so scared all the time. The only solution we can come up with is a midnight run. Basically a pack-your-shit-and-run-like-hell situation. She has a place to go, but she can't leave til after her grades are turned in for her last year of high school. She's broke (she can't work very much, and what money she makes goes to keeping herself alive), and it will cost in the area of 100 dollars to get her to a safe place, and she'll need money to sustain herself both now and later.
I'm selling a bunch of old textbooks and original art pieces and giving her a share of the profit (I need some to pay my bills or she would get all of it). Donations are VERY appreciated, even if its only $5. I'm doing commissions of just about anythign at ridiculously cheap prices to try to drum up a bit of cash for her.
of course, no one is obligated to help, if you don't want to or can't I completely understand. If you can, I assure you you will be giving to a good cause, and you will have both my thanks and hers.
