(no subject)
The baby is officially 9 months old today. As per his medical requirements, we had a well check-up this afternoon. He is 28" tall (or 2’ 4") -- which means he is 30% taller than most boys his age. He weighed in at 20 lbs and 2 ozs -- which means he is 45% heavier than most boys his age. His head measured 17 7/8" -- which means his head is all 45% bigger than most boys his age.Needless to say, my 9 month old is a BIG BOY. He loves to eat, especially applesauce and bananas -- together or separate. He also knows how to scream with a very high pitch when he feels that someone isn’t paying him enough attention.
But, our biggest thrill here lately seems to be chasing who/whatever he can while in the walker. LOL BTW, this also resulted in his 1st "booboo" yesterday. He was trying to chase Daddy in the driveway and skinned his toe. Being the little man that he is, he didn’t even noticed it until after we had cleaned the wound and put a band-aid on it.
This coming weekend will be his 1st Easter -- and heaven only knows what all he will end up with! LOL I know that his great aunt has already bought some things for him. :-D Can we say that this child is both blessed and spoiled rotten?Also, we are starting to work on a birthday party list. Two of his great aunts are already trying to get things moving. One has already bought invitations and the other wants to know what we want on his cake. We are trying to decide where to have it -- either at his paternal grandparents or his paternal great-maw-maw’s. And, we have to decide on WHEN because his birthday falls in the middle of the week. LOL So many decisions and he is still just my little man.
