This is the result of my last German Exam. Which I thought I failed horribly. (And that means I expected something around 2 or 3 credit points)
Because, when I should have been studying for it, you successfully drew away my attention.
So instead of studying Schiller's "Die Räuber" and the common conflict with Kleist's "Kohlhaas" I pored over history books, talking with you about headcanons regarding Germany, the HRE, Prussia, France, Religion and all that.
My teacher wrote as comment: "You somehow failed to ask the question (How big should the importance/role of Muslim Symbols in our society get?), however your style of writing is so great (it was a speech...and I think my style rather fitted "propaganda" more than "rational, not biased view"...^^") and (here comes the part for that I love you!) your historical background knowledge and recent political happenings are so widespread and greatly included, you get a good grade anyway."
So, I had been writing about how the German nation evolved from the Holy Roman Empire, where already the name says that it was based on Christianity and I included Chlodwig and the crusades and the French Revolution and the Telekom's women quota and all that stuff we talked about and my teacher seems to like history or something like that, because he thought it was awesome that I had that many background information!
Which I wouldn't have had, if I had actually studied instead of exchanging messages about Hetalia headcanon with you. With our common perfectionism about historical facts.
