Charity Auction Donations Request
Hi everyone! Last year we raised $1800 for the Morphicon charity FURS (http://www.ferretsunlimited.org/). FURS is a charity that runs a no kill rescue that takes care of all sorts of abandoned, or mistreated animals who need homes. They do really great work keeping overhead low by locating ferrets at volunteer's houses as small scale shelters. Their primary expenses come in the form of vet and medical bills to take care of their rescue animals.
We'd really like to be able to give just as much, if not MORE this year, but we need YOUR help to do that, and the best way you can help is by bringing at least one item with you to donate to the silent charity auction and charity raffle. 100% of the proceeds from both go directly to the charity.
Appropriate items include, but aren't limited to, furry artwork (comics/prints/books/etc), promises of service (webhosting/artwork/design work/etc.), furry merchandise, ears, tails, plushies, and anything else you think that furries might be interested in. We also accept adult donations, which will be clearly labeled and sealed to keep minors from getting into them. All you need to do is bring your donation with you, and drop it off at registration/operations (Potter Wright).
If everyone brought just ONE item we'd have over 300 items for the charity auction and raffle.
Let's do what we can to make this convention year the best one for FURS so far.
