Rude Awakenings
Well, so much for a good nights sleep.
A couple of hours into my slumber and I was dragged out of bed to investigate some screaming from the inn down the road. I thought this was the reason I paid extra gold to AVOID that inn. All the same it would be irresponsible not to at least have a look. For all we knew the town could have been under attack. Of course, it wasn't. As far as I could tell, through the crowd of people, there had been some sort of bar fight resulting in the untimely death of one of the patrons. The watch were on scene and appeared to be in control of the situation so I've returned to my bed. It doesn't concern us and we'd only get in the way of their investigation.
Despite this, the rest of the party have stayed to poke their noses around. If there is any more to report I shall amend this entry in the morning.
