Day 1: Steady start, unsteady stomach.
Today we began our journey. To be honest, it could have gone a lot better.
Breakfast this morning was... far from satisfactory, which left the group feeling rather rotten during the coach ride. Gresha (the cleric of all people) was even ill from it, but at least she's able to tend to herself.
Aside the less than pleasant half-orc vomit, the day was mostly uneventful.
We have now arrived in Meadows-end the closest town to the forest. Tonight is likely to be the last comfortable nights rest we get for some time, so I have decided to pay for every ones accommodation from my own purse so that we are all able to enjoy the night in a quality establishment. To be honest I'd pay twice this again to avoid the towns other inn. It's more a glorified long drop than anything else.
I'm looking to get an early start in the morning, as I'm eager to make some real progress, so I am more than grateful for the good nights sleep this bed appears to guarantee.
