"....ya gotta be here on time."

those disconcerting "i might have to fire you"-toned words spoken to me, mere seconds ago, have left a feeling deep in the pit of my stomach that says to me "davis, get yourself a new alarm clock, dammit." it's true, i've had alarm woes this semester. perhaps a trip to the alarm clock store is in order for this afternoon's agenda.

on to better and somewhat brighter things..

'somewhat brighter' my ass. the features show last night was freaking incredible. de novo dahl faaar exceeded my expectations (i liked em before, but this time i REALLY liked em), feable weiner met my expectations to a T (*yawn*), and the features played an absolutely great set. i gave amanda a big hug during kari-ann. i'm currently wearing my fashionable ringer "some of europe/parts of america" tour tshirt (which, coincidentally, was the first clean piece of clothing i saw when i groggily and frantically woke up). we also *stealthily!* got some posters last night, stickers, and of course cds. here comes the PSA...

i will tell everyone i know this one thing: go out and buy 'exhibit a' by the features cause it's a fucking great record. thank you for your time.

*end PSA*

.....

man, it really bugs me that she said that. not in a "i can't believe she said that" way but a "fuck, i guess people really ARE noticing if i come in a few minutes late." while the library isn't the best pay in the world, it is the only job i've got and i definetly won't find an easier one that pays more than minimum wage (even if it is just barely above it). i will say, however, that i did get royally shafted on shifts, but hey whatever. i just need to get my ass up earlier. i'm going to have to wake up earlier than i did on a regular basis in high school this year.

who cares. i'm bitching about something pointless. i feel like an elementary school teacher at the end of his nerves..

"just... just DO it, okay?!"

i guess with that, i'm out.
