I've been slackin.
Week two of sophomore year done... meh. I've been feeling incredibly busy, though i guess when do i not? (and when i'm not busy i'm thinking i'm wasting time. gotta make up my mind somewhere, huh.)
I just made a chicken sandwich, and when i pulled out two slices of bread they had a blue fuzzy corner. Seeing as i prefer my bread sans-blue, fuzzy corners, i borrowed a slice of my roommate's fancy bread (sorry guys. i'ma get my own bread soon.) which has nuts on it. heh.. hope i don't die. oh well. it tasted weird.
Tonight is WMTS/Jessica's bday party, then tomorrow we've got a frat gig in Sewannee.. heh. should be fun, if not a little rough. Justin is buying Jason's acoustic guitar, so he's coming up and I think he's gonna play with us saturday night. sunday then is the WMTS benefit show w/ casio cassanova and the bang up and us. we haven't played a show in two and a half months or so, and haven't practiced for about 2. this week has been justin, hershel and i sweating it out in the shed to attempt at not sucking. we're succeeding mildly, though justin's new songs are some of the best he's written, i think. i'm excited to see how things are going to shape up for us this year.
that head automatica cd fucking rocks. i've also re-fallen in love with the shins - chutes too narrow.
so i finally got to see garden state a week ago, and... despite everyone else i was with, i couldn't help but feeling totally let down by the ending. (due to it's sheer suckiness) ah well. perhaps another viewing will be nessesary.
amanda got me hungry hungry hippos for my birthday and i was speechless. in awe, if you will.
well, it's about time to practice. gotta get to it.
